About Our Laboratory

Every VKIN variable-speed air conditioner, heat pump and specialty climate solution begins with engineering. Our team develops systems from the platform level upward—designing refrigerant circuits, compressor control algorithms, heat exchanger configurations and system architectures that balance efficiency, durability and real-world operating performance.

6 HP Psychrometric Lab

Dedicated to residential and light-commercial system development. Supports prototype validation, control logic tuning, and component-level performance analysis under simulated North American climate conditions.

15 HP Psychrometric Lab

High-capacity testing for larger systems, multi-zone configurations, and extreme operating conditions. Enables full-load efficiency mapping, capacity verification, and long-term durability assessments.

Efficiency & Performance Testing

Verification of cooling capacity, heating capacity, EER, COP, and seasonal performance (SEER2/HSPF2) under controlled temperature and humidity conditions, generating data for AHRI certification.

Simulated Operating Conditions

Testing across a broad range of temperatures and humidity levels that reflect actual U.S. and Canadian climate zones, from extreme cold (-13°F) to high-ambient cooling scenarios.
